Green Lodge
Green Lodge is situated in a beautiful part of West Cork, Ireland, quiet yet still convenient, 3km from the coast and 8km from Bantry town.
Bantry is the centre of West Cork. The first people to come to Ireland landed close by at Donemark. Megalithic monuments and sacred sites are numerous. The rugged landscape of West Cork is one of most magical parts of Ireland.
Within easy reach are the Beara Penninsula, The Healy Pass, Glengarriff and the State Forest, Gougane Barra, Sheeps Head, Cape Clear and Sherkin Island,Crookhaven, and Mizen Head.
A little further afield is Blarney Castle and its famous stone, Killarney and the Dingle Penninsula.
You will not have to travel far to have a drink in Irelands highest pub or to sit by Irelands highest waterfall.

Our aim at Green Lodge is to provide our guests with a peaceful relaxing place to stay in surroundings sympathetic to a vegetarian way of life at an affordable price. Exclusively vegetarian cooking only.
At Green Lodge each apartment has its own private entrance and en suite bathroom or shower and w.c. A cooker, fridge and all the cooking utensils you will need are provided.
The apartments are in a single storey terrace in an enclosed yard next to a mature garden.
Green Lodge is an excellent base for touring, cycling or walking. it is an ideal location for wildlife and birdwatching, sketching & painting, or visiting the many stone circles of West Cork-- maps and information are available on loan.
Visitors to Green Lodge are free to enjoy the 10 acres of space around the accommodation; the natural woodland, mature gardens, orchards and fields.
Storage heating is included in the price of the accommodation. Additional heaters are provided. Electricity is metered and paid for at cost on departure.
